A History of the Land Settlement Association

The Land Settlement Association built an estate of smallholdings just south of Gt Abington in the late 1930s. This was one of about 20 such estates around the country, established to provide employment opportunities for long-term unemployed men from depressed industrial areas.
Leigh Belcham has just completed a history of the LSA from its formation in 1934 to its closure in 1983, and wishes to let those living on or close to those former estates know how they could obtain copies.
